meet chelsea
creative stylist, event visionary, flower girl, curator of pretty things,

chelsea’s first foray into event design and styling began in her room in 1994, when she began styling events and scenes for her american girl dolls. molly and felicity had extraordinary adventures that included clever attention to detail and a penchant for elegance and whimsy that still defines chelsea’s style today. over twenty years later, chelsea has been enthusiastically (yet unofficially) directing and designing stunning events and weddings, arranging flowers, and carefully curating a repertoire of lovely and unique event details in all of her spare time. ultimately, blooming branch creative has always been a part of her, and sharing it with others as a business is a dream come true.

a natural leader who loves both organization and ingenuity, chelsea believes strongly in the power of creating uniquely beautiful surroundings and the impact of the aesthetic. many of her most special memories are of celebrations with the people she loves, and she is passionate about ensuring her clients have similar experiences that reflect who they are and what matters most. she believes in clear communication, building relationships over revenue, that the devil is never in the details, you should always stay true to yourself, staying on budget shouldn’t be stressful, and that peonies can fix almost anything.

chelsea is a graduate of gardner-webb university, almost a north carolina native, and a self-proclaimed thrift store aficionado. often told she looks like t-swift (and totally okay with that situation), she is a follower of Jesus, a non-profit staffer by day, a new aunt to theodore, and loves her family, boyfriend, alex, and cat, liam, fiercely. when she’s not working you can usually find her scouring thrift and antique stores, eating gummy candy and pizza, watching parenthood or gilmore girls reruns, and decorating her apartment.
